Absolutely Outstanding! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the fun exciting atmosphere and welcoming staff. The food was nothing short of incredible--authentic Italian flavors made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the sauce had a depth of flavor that tasted like it had been simmering all day. The wine list was thoughtfully curated with local wines and their signature espresso martini was lights out! Can't wait to come back--this place is a true gem!

Happy Hour Dinner! I made my way into Giuseppe's to try their happy hour menu and what a joy. My favorite part of the meal has always been the vinegar/olive oil/garlic/parmesan cheese spread for the bread-absolutely delicious. I ended up ordering rigatoni and meatballs along with Kobe beef burger. Overall Grade: A+ $$

I found this spot on Yelp but after we arrived it would have stood out from the rest already. In the heart of town right next to the Mission and at the end of Monterey. They close in between lunch and dinner and reopen at 4:30. At 4PM they already had a lil line to come in, but 4:20 that line was very long. They make the pasta in house daily and it was very fresh. I went with the Meatball dish and it was excellent. The house bread they serve with the meal was very good and they dip for the bread was amazing. My wife did the carbonara and also love it. They had a drink called flat liner I grabbed for after dinner and it was a great ending to an awesome meal. The Vespa P200 was a nice decoration to the front. Memories of my P200 made me really want to fire it up. LOL I also noticed several tables that came as groups and enjoyed a round or two before they ordered. One table did a bottle of wine before they even looked at the food menu. Friends enjoying friends and that was neat to see. Service was excellent, our waitress was great and the guys that covered the "extras" really watched everything and managed the tables well.

Guiseppe's is arguably the behemoth of the SLO restaurant scene. It was time to give it a crack. A 40 min wait on a Saturday afternoon, and boy, my gal and I were already hangry when we got there. We patiently waited inside, but gawked at every plate that was carried by us. It did give us a chance to gaze around the place with a lovely back patio area, and we were duly impressed. When we finally sat down, we were ready for anything and everything. A very well-priced lunch menu. I mean c'mon, a 12" pizza is $16-22, and pastas $15-26? That's really reasonable in these times of incredibly high prices. We opted to share a pizza and a pasta, and finish with some of their gelato. Good idea, no? The food was good, but not great -- at least what we got. A Carbonara was delish, but the cream sauce was much too thick and pasty. The Bee Sting pizza was a thing of beauty ("double cupped pepperoni, hot honey, basil") with amazing cheese and the best of pepperoni (curled and crispy), but I didn't like crust..very thin and tasteless. But I give the whole experience a 4.0, it's a worthy place and the gelato & cakes (supreme looking)...and I'll for sure be back to try it again.

Absolutely love, discovering places. I am sure this place has been here for a very long time and has hung out on this corner of awesome and delicious since it opened. The service is great there people are genuine and friendly when seating you. The bartender who subbed into wait on me also was very personable and happy to serve this amazingly delicious food! I took a number of pictures inside and the ambience is very beautiful and I would be happy to take a date here (my wife) anytime I come back to San Luis Obispo. You guys have an amazing place and I'm happy I stumbled upon it . Anyone in San Luis Obispo traveling here, this place rocks!! They also have pizza and sandwiches upfront in the restaurant. If you're in a pinch, forget the bread, grab the cannolis!!!!

Giuseppe's is such a classic and favorite of SLO. I love that they start you off with complimentary bread and an olive oil herb blend. Always delicious when waiting for your food to arrive. My favorite and only order has always been the Capesante e Gamberi, I love that the creamy sauce pairs so well with the pasta and seafood. It is so good to dip the bread in too. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. You know a restaurant is good when they are only open for certain hours for lunch and dinner! ig: @cravingswithcat

Cute little restaurant in downtown slo! We got there at opening so no wait on a Saturday. They have a takeout lunch special as well but we ate there for lunch. The waiter was super friendly and provided great service. They served this delicious toasted bread with an amazing garlic balsamic olive oil sauce! So good! We ordered the following: Campeseri e gamberi was soooo good... might be my new favorite pasta haha! The linguine was cooked perfectly with a delicious creamy based sauce with scallops, shrimp and pancetta. Just delicious. Nonnas meatball was good, but the homemade spaghetti was slightly undercooked but still very good! The meatballs were also super good. Roasted beet was such a nice appetizer and salad to have. Overall so refreshing and great addition to eat with the two pastas. Overall was so happy with this place and definitely come again :)

Giuseppe's is a great spot for a date night or special occasion! I've been here three times and have enjoyed all the dishes I've tried --the Capesante e Gamberi and Tagliatelle Bolognese were excellent and the Carbonara was decent. The cocktails here are nice too! The ambiance is very cute and highly recommended getting a seat in their back patio if you can. The biggest downside is they don't accept reservations and the wait is usually between 40mins to an hour.
